Herbal Tea Bath Recipe


  • 1/2 cup cup dried Calendula (Marigolds) astringent, antiseptic, anti-inflammatory
  • 1/2 cup Plantain leaves heals sores, and burns
  • 2-4 bags black or green tea
  • 2 drops lavender essential oil
  • 1/2 cups baking soda soothes sunburns and itchy skin


  • Bring four cups of water to a boil, and add in the herbs and tea bags.
  • Remove from heat, and allow to steep for 15-20 min.
  • Set tea bags aside to cool.
  • Strain off tea, and pour it into a nice warm bath.
  • Sprinkle in the lavender and baking soda, and soak for at least 20 min.
