Monday’s Homestead Barn Hop #13

Hey guys!! I’m so glad you could join me, Jill, Amy, and Megan for another fun-filled Homestead Barn Hop! It has been so inspiring visiting everyone’s homesteads and seeing what you’ve all been up to! Keep the great ideas coming!

This past week was pretty laid back around here… well, except for the having a baby part! But other than that I’ve tried to take it easy. It has been so nice having my husband help out with the chores, especially those first couple of days after delivery. He took care of everything, and allowed me to simply rest.

I have managed to get out a bit though, and prune the fruit trees, do some weeding and mulching, and make some honeysuckle jelly. We took the week off from homeschooling, so it’s time to get back into the swing of things. I feel so good this time though! Like I have a renewed source of energy. I’m ready to tackle some projects I wasn’t able to do while still pregnant.

So, what have you been up to lately? Tried anything new? Learned a new trick? Put something into the garden? Made a new recipe? I’d love to know what you’ve been doing around your own homestead!

  1. Congratulations!! He is so beautiful! You really are superwoman. You do more a few days after giving birth than most people I know 🙂 You are an inspiration. Thank you for staying motivated and sharing it with us!

  2. He is so handsome:)

All we can seem to do this past week is mow! It’s been raining for the past 3 weeks off and on and any moment we get with a little sunshine we must mow our yard.
