If you’ve ever looked for them, you know that organic seed potatoes can be hard to come by. Fortunately for us, Filaree Garlic Farm has just begun carrying an awesome line of organic seed potatoes in fun heirloom varieties such as All Red, Yukon Gold, All Blue, Red Pontiac, Purple Majesty, French Fingerlings, Russets, and Ozette Fingerling.

I recently had an opportunity to get my hands on a nice selection of different Filaree seed potatoes, and was thoroughly impressed with the condition and quality of my shipment. It’ll be really fun to have colored potatoes in the garden this year. I imagine the children will be surprised when I cut the tubers open to reveal their magnificent colors!

April is a great time to get potatoes planted. I’ll be planting my colorful varieties in large tubs, so that I can keep them organized and separated. I wonder if the mashed potatoes will be purple?? It’ll be fun to see.

Please Don’t Wait To Order!

If you haven’t ordered any seed potatoes yet, do it now! April is the last month to get your Spring order in, so you only have a few more days. Filaree Farm has generously offered a discount code for my readers, to help you get the best price possible. Visit and get 10% off all orders through April with code: NLH14.
