Well, I am officially writing for Lehman’s Country Life. Yay!! I LOVE Lehman’s products, so I can’t even tell you how excited I was to be given the honor of writing for their blog.

Since I thought you guys might enjoy my first article with them, I wanted to share the link here for you to check out. It’s called: Old-Fashioned Winter Fun for Children, and it’s all about how to keep your kids entertained when they are stuck indoors, without using mind-numbing electronic gadgets!

Head on over when you get a chance, and let me know what you do to keep your kids entertained through the winter!

  1. My kids’ favorite “toys” from about age 1 to 2 1/2 were food storage containers, plastics bowls, bakeware, etc. on the kitchen floor while I worked in the kitchen.

  2. Great article! Sounds a lot like what we do around here! Just this morning, while sorting laundry, my son decided that playing in a pile of clothes could be almost as much fun as playing in a pile of leaves! So, after I separated the clothes, I left a pile of jeans, sweats & t-shirts and let the kids have at it! They giggled for almost 45 minutes! I love what my kids can come up with when they use their imagination!
