Barefoot Books Children’s Literature Giveaway!

*This Giveaway is now closed. Congratulations to our friend Courtney from His and Hers Homesteading!! And a big thanks to everyone who entered!

Love educational and inspiring children’s books?

I recently became acquainted with Barefoot Books, a mom-founded independent publisher, and was blessed with the privilege of reviewing several of their titles. I must admit, my kids and I were very excited to sit down and read through them!

What I absolutely love about Barefoot Books is that the books they offer carry wonderful stories full of rich culture, and healthy living messages. A few of my favorite titles include:

Jada and I especially enjoyed The Beeman and Mama Panya’s Pancakes- both of which are super cute, full of educational information, and even have a relevant recipe in the back. Love, love, love stories you can learn from!!

Fortunately for you, the very generous ladies at Barefoot Books have offered to giveaway the book of choice to one lucky reader!

Simply leave a comment here letting me know which book you would choose if you were to win. I’ll pick one random winner on Wednesday, April 13th at 9pm EST.

You’re sure to love what you see! Thanks again to Barefoot Books for the giveaway!!

  1. I would have to choose the Kid’s Kitchen for my 8 year old Granddaughter who is now doing some cooking on her own.

  2. I would pick Who’s in the Garden? for my grandson Cole,it’s his 5th birthday today and I bought him some little greenhouse and seed kits,he just loves to work in his garden,he would rather eat vegs and strawberries he grew instead of candy !!!

  3. I think I would like Kid’s Kitchen. My son could relate to that. He loves to go into the kitchen to cook and to help me cook.

  4. Who’s In The Garden? would be our choice. Planting our first garden this year and teaching the kids along the way. Thanks for the great giveaway!

  5. Hi Kendra,
This is a hard choice but I think I would choose Mama Panya’s Pancakes(We have been eating alot of pancakes with the Maple syrup we made.:))Thank you for a fun giveaway.~Nikki

  6. Who’s in the Garden =) Looks like a really cute book. My {almost 3 yr old} LOVES books. In fact we just made a trip to the library so she could pick out books. She even enjoys being read to ….great give away. Thanks!

  7. Kid’s Garden or Yoga Pretzels get my vote! Both look like they are filled with awesome ideas..for my son OR for the “other kids”! Gotta have some new ideas for around the house! Things are getting boring here!

  8. Wow. That’s tough. If I can choose from the website I’d probably go with Barefoot Books Animal Tales (my kids are entranced by animals). But if I needed to choose one from your list here then I’d choose The Beeman. Thanks for a great giveaway!

  9. Hi Kendra,

I would love to have, “Kid’s Garden.” I am starting my very first vegetable and herb garden this year. Once my 8-year-old found this out, he said that he wanted his own little garden. He would love this book, and I’m sure it would be a big help too!

  10. Gosh! So hard to choose. I think we’d enjoy “The Beeman” if we won. Although, “Mama Panya’s Pancakes” is a close second ’cause my dh is serving around that area with his unit right now. Thanks for having this giveaway!!

  11. Wow! It would be so hard to choose! I think I would have to let my lttle boy browse through the website with me and see which one he wanted.

  12. I would have a hard time choosing that’s for sure…but I have at least narrowed it down for now to two…The Shakespeare Book and the Book of Knights. Thanks for the giveaway!

  13. Kid’s Kitchen definately…because I have 3 children that all love to help me in the kitchen. I think they would enjoy helping to use this to plan some of our meals.

  14. The covers are all gorgeous:) I think I’d choose The Beeman since we started keeping bees last year. My children would probably choose Mama Panya’s Pancakes. Actually, they’d want them all! Thanks for the opportunity:)

  15. Kid’s Garden because we are having a huge garden this year and I want them to be involved and learn a lot from this.

  16. I would choose Mama Panya’s Pancakes. Since I don’t have any kids myself, I’m thinking here of my SIL and niece–I think SIL would enjoy reading it to her daughter and then making pancakes together in the kitchen 🙂

  17. It’s a tough choice between a gardening book or a cookbook, but I think I’ll go with “Who’s in the Garden? Thanks so much.

  18. Kids Garden

40 fun indoor and outdoor activities.

I’m ALWAYS looking for new ideas to make the days adventure with my son a special one! All the books look adorable though. Good luck everyone!

  19. Mama and Papa’s Pancakes looks pretty neat–I’m always on the lookout for ethnically diverse books for my son. They’re all beautiful books!

  20. Kids Kitchen seems like it would be fun to use to teach children how to cook healthy. I would love that one.

  21. The Barefoot Book of Earth Tales looks really neat. The books that have CDs are great too because I can pop them in the CD player and my younger one can follow along to the story while we are driving.

  22. I have to choose just one?! 🙂 I think I’d choose Who’s in the Garden. But Mama Panya’s Pancakes looks really cute too. Thanks so much!

  23. I would love the Kid’s Kitchen book. Both of my children love cooking in the kitchen and it looks like a really fun book!

  24. My oldest would love Kids in the Kitchen. I’d love to get Bee Man for both girls… my grandfather “kept” bees. 🙂

  25. The books look adorable :). If our options are of the above shown then I would definitely be excited to win Who’s in the Garden for my one year old, but if it is from any book at her store I fell in love with Listen, Listen – tempted to just buy it now lol. Hope to win 🙂
